MOT testing: what owners ask

  • Can Khairo book several cars at the same time?

    Yes. Set how many vehicles your centre tests at once, and Khairo books each slot up to that number.

  • Does it always ask for the registration?

    Yes. For an MOT centre the registration and the vehicle type are required before a booking is made.

  • Which vehicle types can it take?

    Cars, vans, motorcycles and the other classes you test. Which ones you take, and how long each test takes, is up to you.

  • Can drivers move or cancel by phone?

    Yes, up to the limit you set (24 hours by default). Closer to the time, Khairo puts the call through to you.

  • Can Khairo remind customers when their next MOT is due?

    Yes. A rule such as “11 months after an MOT” sends a message with an opt-out; customers who reply 1 get a call and a booking.
